What if Obama drops this push for war, today and then later at some point in the future pulls a military action out of the air and does it anyway? Would he try that?

I don't know how important the gas resources are in the region compared to Obama's need for political cover and distraction.

That's not true. There are plenty of people in Saudi Arabia cheering them on.

All we have to do is look at the way Obama has handled the Afghanistan War, to know we don't want any part of what he is talking about on Syria. It's really very simple, you don't go to War with a COWARD as your leader ....no matter how brave your soldiers.
