McRINO Outraged Obama Didn’t Mention Syrian Rebels During His Primetime Address: “I Feel Badly, Very Badly For My Friends In The Free Syrian Army”…
His unwavering devotion to the Sunni Islamist rebels is mind boggling.
Via Politico:
Sen. John McCain on Wednesday lamented that President Barack Obama’s televised address did not mention helping the Syrian opposition, saying he feels for his friends among the rebels.
“I was very disappointed that the president did not mention the Free Syrian Army and our moral and material assistance for them, which is required. I think they do feel that they are being abandoned,” McCain said. “I feel badly, very badly for my friends in the Free Syrian Army today.”
McCain mentioned that Syrian President Bashar Assad has resumed flying airstrikes against the opposition forces, and the president’s position sends the wrong message to that group.
“There’s nothing that would drive Syrians more into the hands of extremists than to feel that they have been abandoned by the West, and that impression I’m sure has been made on them today,” McCain said.
McCain cares more for his friends in Syria than he does the Americans who he frequently calls, "my friends".
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
"If people can’t trust not only the executive branch but also don’t trust Congress, and don’t trust federal judges, to make sure that we’re abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then we’re going to have some problems here." - Barack Obama, June 7, 2013
the guy is delusional. he called Obama his friend as he was running against him for president.
he calls us his friends. sorry to say, Mr McCain, we're not all friends and calling everyone friend doesn't make it so.
what we have here is a failure to communicate...
The bureaucracy: the new fourth branch of government. The bureaucracy is permanent, unaccountable, unelected and choking us like a weed. The bureaucrat exists, generating nothing of value, using perceived problems to justify his existence.
