WASHINGTON (AP) – The National Zoo’s beloved panda cam and all other live animal cameras from the zoo have gone dark with the government shutdown.
The zoo itself will be closed to visitors starting Tuesday. A zoo spokeswoman says the live animal cameras went offline Tuesday morning and furloughed staff will be allowed to conduct an orderly shutdown. Officials say the shutdown won’t affect care of the animals.
LOL Ya notice everytime there is something going on, the first things they take away are things for the people. Why dont they take away their salaries?
They could shut down this whole country, for all I care. We could probably "run" it ourselves, better than they do.
And again...I am so tired of this crap...because I believe..nothing good is going to come from it. Its all show.
