Friedman was also dubious of the various polls that recently have shown as many as four out of five Americans are opposed to a name change for the Redskins. Friedman stated it is condescending for the team and league to cite such polling, comparing it to polling fans as to whether concussions are a serious health issue rather than listening to doctors.
