Jen Senko is a filmmaker who watched in horror as her father slowly came to believe the extreme right-wing lies of Rush Limbaugh and other conservative media mavens. Now she’s making a documentary about it calledThe Brainwashing of My Dad.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
"If people can’t trust not only the executive branch but also don’t trust Congress, and don’t trust federal judges, to make sure that we’re abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then we’re going to have some problems here." - Barack Obama, June 7, 2013
Funny how people can't stand right thinking and common sense when the irrational see's one becoming rational it scares them because then they will have to be forced to look at themselves and they can't have that so pointing the finger and calling it the problem gets them off the hook
I actually feel for the writer. When a child and a parent have divergent political views it can cause problems. This isn't to say that the father doesn't have the right to his opinion or to express it. But I do think it is interesting that the writer talks about her relationship with her father. Maybe the two of them will learn from each other still while there is time.

What I got was an angry Leftist who I pissed that anybody could believe something she cannot comprehend like freedom and then is passionate about keeping it--just another angry leftist with daddy issues
"ROC:Is there an antidote to this brainwashing? A cure?
JS: That’s part of what my film is about. The answer is deprogramming by exposing lies, but part of the problem is how to get them to listen."
Indeed. You are exhibit number 1.
"JS: Edward S. Herman and Noam Chomsky and the others made me aware that not only is there no so-called “liberal media,” which I knew, but that all of the media is biased toward business."
ROFLMAO! THAT is some funny "stuff"! Hey,if you can't count on a "centrist" like Noam Chosky, who can you count on?
This woman actually made a documentary exposing the fact that she is a idiot to the entire world.
Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
You're a brave man. Go and break through the lines. And remember, while you're out there risking your life and limb through shot and shell, we'll be in be in here thinking what a sucker you are. ~Rufus T. Firefly
ZitatThe second thing MSNBC does that Fox doesn’t do is correct themselves when they make a mistake.
The only reason they have to correct stuff is because they traffic in lies and bullshit so outrageous it could lead to lawsuits. I also don't believe twitter apologies constitute a real correction....
