Vandon Gene: What do you think is the biggest problem that the GOP has right now? There are a lot of problems, but what is the one problem you think they need to address. Is it messaging? Is it unity? What is it?
Ben Shapiro: Both of those are part of the same thing. Unity and messaging would be it. It would be unified belief in going after the Democrats. It’s more than just we have to present the agenda. It’s more than just we have to look like nice guys. We have to make it clear that the Democrats are mean and nasty. And President Obama was making clear that he is mean and nasty when he was shutting down war memorials for veterans. That I think was the key point for Republicans in the entire process. It saddens me that they didn’t stick with that.
The gentlemen's game that the people in Washington pretend to play is beyond old.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
"If people can’t trust not only the executive branch but also don’t trust Congress, and don’t trust federal judges, to make sure that we’re abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then we’re going to have some problems here." - Barack Obama, June 7, 2013
