Several times on the call Biden referred to comments made by Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), the foremost opponent of immigration reform in the House, that suggested all immigrants crossing the border from Mexico are ferrying drugs.

“Real good Christian comment,” Biden said. “He may be a good Christian, but his comments sure the hell aren’t, excuse my language.”
