The Affordable Care Act is "intentionally designed to screw over young people" who are being forced to pay higher premiums, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus says.
"It wasn't a mistake. This thing was not an accident," Priebus told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV on Thursday.
"Obamacare was intentionally designed to screw over young people so that young people pay for everyone else's stuff.
“When the government fears the people there is liberty; When the people fear the government there is tyranny."
Zitat"It's about time that we start telling the truth and quit monkeying around with talking points and go right to the American people and right to young people and say exactly what I just said," Priebus said.
"They're getting screwed over by a plan designed to take more of their money to pay for the stuff of other people."
He is counting on the wrong age group. Today's young people are coming out of college to NO jobs. Most, cant even move out of their parents homes.
My kids are in their early to mid 40s. Two of them, were married and went into their own homes after the honeymoon..not some dinky apartment. The 3rd one had their own home and one child, the first year.
Do you think todays kids can do that? I dont think so.
Not only that, I think the mentality of todays young people are not like those in the past. This group is very immature. I can see that with my grandkids (5 of 13 are teenagers, one in their 20s). They are not how I or my kids were at their age. They want to party..and have a good time. This means they need that party cash. They sure dont want to miss out on the partying, to pay for healthcare that they dont think they need.
If push comes to shove..they will pay the fine and par-tayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
