Last year our knee-jerk liberal fascists reacted predictably to the Newtown, CT school shooting by enacting some of the strictest gun control legislation in the nation.
Also last year the murder rate in our fine state soared to a seven-year high.
Coincidence? I mean really, how can criminals so easily acquire guns when New Jersey makes it so hard to buy and own them?
Oh, right, criminals don't follow the law.
So naturally the solution is more gun control legislation!
Even if they managed to get every legal gun away from the citizen, criminals will always have guns. People got illegal booze in prohibition, they get illegal drugs, now..so there is no way any law will stop these people and these killings. And, crude as it may sound..as long as they are killing each other, who cares?
I care for the fact the restrictive laws only apply to those of us who do follow the law and not all the killings are them killing each other. Innocents are killed, the linked article points out a stray bullet killing a 13 year old girl.
