Several Districts Opt Out Of FLOTUS School Lunch Program

Many schools are now refusing to participate any longer with the new lunch program laid out by the first lady, in conjunction with the USDA and the 2010 "Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act."

Here's to more schools having the courage to opt out of tyranny!

It's my understanding the kids were going hungry with Mooch's program. Brings back that old saying 'let them eat cake'. I don't think she's missing out on too many meals herself - she just wants the kids to starve. What are these "leaders" of ours thinking, they just want to pass crap and they don't even know what they're doing. Is it not wiser to let the people who deal with the kids EVERY DAY decide what the kids need to eat?

I would rather they opt out of the bogus headstart and kindergarten, both of which is nothing more than a high cost babysitter operation.
