I cannot understand being charged with "PRETENDING TO PRACTICE WITCHCRAFT".
I don't believe in witchcraft. I don't believe in witches. I think it's fake. I think it's similar to playing make-believe. I think children make-believe at being witches at Halloween when they dress up in costume like Lucy did in the Peanuts cartoon.
Now, I understand that there are adults that claim to be practitioners of Wiccan. I think that is Dark Magic and that is like channeling demons and the devil and it is something I would run away from like the tarot cards and seances.
But, pretending to practice witchcraft makes me think this man was mumbling garbage and pretending to cast spells and he actually wasn't doing a damn thing. So, how could he be charged with that? Why didn't they charge him with fraud and leave it at that? By charging him with pretending to practice witchcraft, aren't they lending him legitimacy that he doesn't deserve?
Orthodoxy SUCKS.
"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with senses, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use and by some other means to give us knowledge which we can attain by them."- Galileo Galilei
