Trevor Coleman thinks it’s time for President Obama to get a new speech for black audiences. The personal responsibility finger-wagging, delivered most recently Sunday at Morehouse College’s commencement, is getting old.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
"know your audience" is rule #1 in public speaking.
Were these lazy irresponsible black people? no? seems like the criticism has merit then.
Interesting that they suggest the message was for white liberals. Not sure how that makes sense. White libs seem to want the victimization mentality to continue.
Half of America has bowed to Baal. Political expediency now drives all the libs decision making, NOT the moral appropriateness or even the legality of their actions.
