Clones are tough stuff. They both survived this attack...
ZitatALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A 26-year-old New Mexico man has been charged for allegedly stabbing his parents, stuffing them into the trunk of a car, and throwing his mother off a bridge after thinking they had been replaced by clones.
According to a criminal complaint, suspect, Martin Montana had this take on the events:
The television told him to go to his mother’s house and to “get the clones out.” After jumping a fence he entered the back yard and proceeded to hit and kick his father until he “took him down.” He then entered the kitchen, grabbed a brown 12-inch kitchen knife and stabbed the man “through the heart.”
He then went back inside and found “someone who looked like his mother.” They entered into a physical altercation that resulted in Montano cutting “the clone in the neck,” despite her having “really tough skin.” He then “tried to choke her out” with a pillow case.
Despite the voices telling him to take each parent to different locations, he took them both to the bridge at Rio Grande and Central Avenue and threw “one of the clones” into the river.
Montano has been charged with an attempt to commit a violent felony, attempted murder, tampering with evidence, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, and aggravated burglary.
