MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell may want to think before he tweets.
As you may have heard, O’Donnell blamed former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani for the deaths of city firefighters in the World Trade Center’s north tower collapse on September 11, 2001. On his “The Last Word” segment last night, O’Donnell replayed footage of Giuliani saying that the Benghazi deaths wouldn’t have happened “if competent decisions were made”; then he honed in on Giuliani’s statement that if he’d learned “one of my police precincts was being attacked” that he wouldn’t have deprived it of security.
Which is when O’Donnell let Giuliani have it, blaming him for faulty radios which the host declared were the reasons for the firefighters’ deaths on 9/11.
