Fox News contributors Juan Williams and Karl Rove suggest during "Fox News Sunday" that Barack Obama's decision to consult Congress on a Syria military intervention will make Republican lawmakers "kick the can down the road" with a continuing resolution that funds the government--and thus the controversial Affordable Care Act--to free them up to debate Syria action.
GOPe leadership had already decided to - as you so eloquently put it - "kick the can down the road."
They just now think that Syria will give them cover to do so.
The last man nearly ruined this place he didn't know what to do with it. If you think this country's bad off now, just wait 'til [Zero's] through with it. ~Rufus T. Firefly, paraphrased from the blockbuster 1933 hit "Duck Soup"

Exactly Rufus they now have their excuse
Yup ...
And while the can is being kicked down the road, ZeroCare is putting out a tap root and underground runners. Pretty soon it will be 'too big to fail' and 'too expensive and disruptive' to kill.
The GOP will kick this down the road at their own peril. Base voters are not dopes and they are not going to buy the argument that Syria is taking up too much time to deal with anything else. It is patently absurd....which is why a failure like Karl and a brain dead idiot like Juan are selling it.
