No, if the House Republicans don't abandon this scheme after it's rejected by the Senate there will be a shutdown.

Then Obama and the MSM will engineer a "calamity" or financial crisis they can blame on the GOP.

While what you say about Dems running for reelection is true....Obama isn't up for reelection and he holds the ultimate trump card.
