Who knows what else the liberals have dreamed up since 2008?

Which is why I don't back down on this issue. The GOP winning the House in 2014 is *that* important.

So pointing out the truth is "discouraging" people to vote? I think you overestimate the power of someone on an obscure (sorry, Justme - just calling it as I see it) political blog. And just for the record (accuracy, y'know) I happen to live in one of the bluest states in the US. A state that would elect Fidel Castro if he were a "D". Yet I vote GOP in every election. I guess I don't have anything better to do on a first Tuesday in November.

So please save your guilt trip for someone else.

And let me ask you - do you THINK amnesty would have ever been stopped if it weren't for the hated "tea party" candidates that ended up getting elected to Congress in 2010 and 2012? Do you seriously thing Boehner (who was all set to sign on to it) would have stopped it?

I think we all are - it just gets expressed in different ways.

Let me just give a couple of general observations: One - I have heard it said that we only criticize those on our own "team" - we don't criticize demoncrats. That one is easy to address. The democrats are completely corrupt and power hungry. No one who follows politics seriously at all sees them for anything else. They have no moral compass - it is all about ends justifying means.

So if you are against what the demoncrats are doing, it is still a waste of time criticizing them. Criticizing democrats for doing what they are wired to do would be like criticizing a skunk for producing a awful smell. It's their nature - it's what they do.

So since there's only one other "team" in town, and we do at least have that team's ear, THAT'S the one we try to influence. And yes, sometimes that influence takes the form of criticism. But it's supposed to work this way: WE bring the numbers (to the voting booth.)

THEY enact the policies.

We held up OUR end of the bargain in 2010 and 2012. And yes, so far (as you've pointed out) the tea party wing of the GOP House has held up ITs end, i.e. amnesty.

We're accused of "friendly fire" - "firing on our own" - etc. Yet it's the McClowns that call people "coo coo birds" (what a charming description, BTW. So second-grade). And it's the Karl Rove's who constantly appear on Fox News, trashing conservatives.

So at least be accurate when you say you're tired of the infighting. And open your eyes and be honest with yourself as to where the infighting is coming from.
