Let me guess. Christie fought the good fight but he lost and since gay marriage is now the law of the land in New Jersey — via activist courts no less — it’s time to give up the fight and enforce the law. And I’m sure none of this has anything to do with 2016?

FOX NY – Same-sex weddings have begun in New Jersey, which has become the 14th state to recognize nuptials between gay partners. Weddings were held in several cities and towns across the state in the first minutes of Monday morning, as soon as a court order requiring the state to recognize gay marriage went into effect.

Later in the morning, Gov. Chris Christie New Jersey Gov. ordered his administration to withdraw an appeal of a state Supreme Court ruling allowing gay marriages.

“Although the Governor strongly disagrees with the Court substituting its judgment for the constitutional process of the elected branches or a vote of the people, the Court has now spoken clearly as to their view of the New Jersey Constitution and, therefore, same-sex marriage is the law,” the Christie administration said in a statement. “The Governor will do his constitutional duty and ensure his Administration enforces the law as dictated by the New Jersey Supreme Court.”

The Republican governor, a possible 2016 presidential candidate, had been asking the state’s top court to overturn that ruling, and not to force the state to recognize same-sex marriage until the appeal was resolved.

Aww..cmon..you can see he lost weight..that is an old pix with obama. You can see the difference in newer pix. That surgery doesnt work overnight. I know a couple of people who have had it..it takes tme..he only got it 6 months ago.

As far as this gay marriage thing...I personally dont believe in it..it sounds nutty to me...but, hey...sooner or later it will be all over the country. This particular issue really hurts no one. If they want to get married..what the hell..then they can pay thru the nose for a divorce, like regular married people do. There are bigger things to worry about than this. Just my opinion.

My opinion on Christie is..he does what he has to do for his state. If ass kissing obama got him the money he needed..then go for it. What I like about him is he holds nothing back. If he has to say something..he says it.

It doesnt matter who we run..because they dont win. The problem is..republicans dont stick together...you dont hear the democrats talking about their Dinos..the way republicans talk about their Rinos...which is why, no matter who they stick in there..doesnt have a chance. (Not to mention the voter fraud). And...I think the republicans just lost themselves a ton of votes over this last fiasco...so you can be even more sure there wont be any winner.

Probably because he knows the gays wont stop until they get it, so why waste his time, where there are other, more important things he needs to do. I think he is just smart enough not to fight a losing battle.
