Politics Chicago-style– Democratic operative and FOX News contributor Bob Beckel told Bill Hemmer today that he got a call from the White House after he suggested implementation for Obamacare should be delayed 6 months.
“The other day on The Five I called for a delay for the implementation of this for five months or six months to a year. And I got a call from somebody at the White House who absolutely bludgeoned me over it…“
You're a brave man. Go and break through the lines. And remember, while you're out there risking your life and limb through shot and shell, we'll be in be in here thinking what a sucker you are. ~Rufus T. Firefly
The problem isn't the Regime bullying Leftists for wandering off the reservation because they are thugs. The issue is what did Bob do after that. Did he roll over?
Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) took a $2 Billion dollar bribe to destroy the country that our kids and grand kids will be paying for.

Isn't it telling that the White House feels free to call a reporter and browbeat him for not towing the party line?
I think that IS the story. Leftist thugs are calling these reporters if they report "unfavorably".
TM is something far, far worse.. I'd advise you all not to hang around with me.
The wild-eyed optimist in me always hopes that Bob may come around some day, he's made a couple monumental life decisions on the correct side of the ledger...

Bob puts me in mind of those old dinosaur liberals that used to exist in the democrat party - like Humphrey and Scoop Jackson. Mis-guided policy wise that they might have been at times, one got the impression that in the end they were patriots who loved their country. Bob's wrong on policy most of the time (though on rare occasions he does make sense), but he seems like a likable fellow who is patriotic.
Such a far cry from the Xlintons and the Zeroes who are running the party now.

Beckel is not a reporter.
There's a fly in here...

Not Fox News.
- David E Sanger New York Times on Staff Reporter, has worked for the New York Times in Washington for two decades.
And it's hard to argue that this isn't working for them. Of course the press is already on their side. That helps. But this is behavioral mod for the press. I wouldn't be surprised if the White House doesn't assign staff to reporters, monitoring their reports and calling them with "feedback".
