Last week I asked Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota to disclose how many enrollments they’d received through the troubled Obamacare exchange. On Monday I got an answer, which was a facepalm worthy 14 enrollments.
Combined with an updated report from Sanford Insurance, which says they have six enrollees as of Tuesday, the total number of North Dakotans who have successfully navigated the exchanges is exactly 20 in 22 days since the exchange was launched.
The third company participating in the exchange for North Dakota, Medica, is still reporting zero enrollments.
Now BCBS of North Dakota – whose PR department, I think it bears repeating, is now being run by former Democrat candidate for US Congress Pam Gulleson – is claiming the feds asked them not to release any more embarrassing enrollment numbers.
Well, this seems to be going over like a lead balloon..lol
This whole fiasco is beginning to feel like watching the walking dead. Each week, people cant wait to see what happens next. I find all of this very entertaining.
From what I have been reading, I dont see how people who couldnt afford insurance last month, can afford it now. Forget the fact that they cant get in there..but once in..who can afford the prices? And then they will all be fined?????
I have seen folks say..well, I just wont pay the fine. Thats laughable. You are talking abt the govt..they dont ASK you..they just take it. ....from your taxes, bank, pay, SS check, etc.
