So Obama has to rely-again-on the ghost of Romney to support him?
Via Telegraph:
President Barack Obama will travel to Boston this week and invoke Massachusetts’s healthcare reforms as he defends the glitch-plagued roll out of Obamacare.
But missing from the audience will be the man who signed those same reforms into law: Mitt Romney.
A source close to the former Massachusetts governor told The Telegraph that Mr Romney had not been invited to Wednesday’s event.
The president will speak at Faneuil Hall, the historic Boston meeting house where Mr Romney signed his own healthcare bill in 2006, flanked by both Democrats and Republicans.
Mr Romney joined with Ted Kennedy and Massachusetts’s Democrat-controlled legislature to pass the law that would later serve as one of the intellectual blueprints for the president’s 2010 reforms.
The White House said Mr Obama would explicitly invoke “the experience in Massachusetts” as he calls on Republicans to accept his healthcare reform and stop “rooting for its failure”.
You're a brave man. Go and break through the lines. And remember, while you're out there risking your life and limb through shot and shell, we'll be in be in here thinking what a sucker you are. ~Rufus T. Firefly
