This will be interesting since he doesn´t have that authority and will the gop stop him--
By delaying the individual mandate by a year, President Obama will keep millions in the dark, thus preventing those millions from switching from Democrat to Republican for next year's congressional midterm elections.
Keeping as many voters as possible as ignorant as possible for as long as possible (at least until after the midterms) is the only strategy Obama, Valerie Jarrett and congressional Democrats can employ that takes care of their No. 1 priority: saving their political hides.
Cynical? Yes. Dishonest? Of course. Going to happen? You bet.
As we hear story after story and statistic after statistic about ObamaCare causing some unsuspecting average American's premium and deductible to skyrocket as they sign up for ObamaCare (the few that can, since the website is a catastrophe even though the fact it was given to a college buddy of Michelle Obama's in a no-bid contract should've ensured it's viability, right?). It's clear Republicans have been right all along. NBC has finally reported that in fact. Obama lied to America and has long known people would lose their health insurance as he looked us in the eye and said we would not.
Political triage is desperately needed, despite the die-hard Obama apologists in the media who will also lie for him, and bully or threaten anyone who crosses him by throwing the "racist" label around (usually loudly and with spittle), an ugly tactic that is losing its strength and impact, by the way.
As more voters discover ObamaCare is costing them big, those voters are more likely to head to the polls in the 2014 midterm elections and vote Republican, similar to what happened in the 2010 midterms when voters gave the GOP the House majority largely due to ObamaCare. While it's true that many of these voters thought ObamaCare meant someone else would be paying for their healthcare, it's quite a different story when they are the "someone else" paying.
Although I do wonder, just what did they think candidate Obama meant when he said he intended to "redistribute the wealth?" They thought he meant other people's money would be "redistributed" and perhaps sent their way, no doubt. Gee, what a cool idea, in theory. There seemed to have been an expectation that the 99 percent would have their healthcare paid for by the 1 percent. The leftist media helped perpetuate this lie.
So yes, the millions of Americans who will see their costs go up substantially with ObamaCare and realize they do not get to keep their doctor or their current health insurance will know Obama lied to them. They will be inclined to vote Republican, but Obama will put a stop to that.
Uniformed, ignorant, lied-to voters who have no idea what Obama has done to them are what the Democrats need in abundance in the 2014 midterms.
I am sure, by now...more people know..than dont. And..even if they push up the mandate..people will still be getting their policies raised and canceled and those who are trying to buy..will see the over blown prices.
You dont even have to follow the news. Even morons use facebook..and these messages have been posted constantly. I repost everything I see..and I have well over 1000 friends..and I am on the low end..people have up to 5000 friends there, especially these gamers...so people already know...all kinds of people..even the stupid ones.

Way to make a guy feel bad. I only have 4 friends on my Facebook account and one of them is someone I don't know, but thinks I am an old college buddy of his because I have a similar name.

Exactly, Ducky!
And if Obama delays the individual mandate, the next wave of policy price increases will make the one we just witnessed look like a mere ripple.
Frank..I play games on FB and dont even use my real name. I have about 30 people on there that I actually know (friends and family), the rest are strangers and I add more, daily..since I delete old games and play new ones, so different players want to be added. Thats why I have so many people..oh..and I delete the libs..lol As the feed rolls by.. every couple of minutes, there is at least one anti-obama/obamacare post, paste, or joke. I said I delete the libs. They are those who either posted on a post of mine..or ran their own graphic. And those people totaled not even a dozen...if that...so a huge majority are posting anti-obama/obamacare. This tells you a lot. More people are waking up to this crap, daily. I only wish they woke up 4 years ago.
The most stupid thing they did...was have the insurance companies add the 26 year olds, and the pre-existing people..way before any of these policies came out. The insurance companies already had them added..using up money..that they were not going to eat. This is why a lot of policies went up or were canceled way before oct 1 of this year.
And wait until the 27+ year olds decide they would rather spend the 95 bucks, than buy insurance next year..and be happy to pay the increases, the following years, because it will still be cheaper for them....and...they can STILL walk into any emergency room and be treated.
Ya know..I never considered myself particularly smart. But, I do have common sense. This here, is all common sense. How can all of those men up there, not have seen this coming? I did...and I saw it when they first began to talk about it..way before they had their back room deals and passed it in the dead of night.
Even if they try to go to single payer. The govt still cant foot the bills for those who cant pay...if they could..wouldnt it have made more sense to just extend medicaid and insure those people? I dont care how many death panels they end up with..they cant kill off everybody..lol

Geez. You don't use your real name? That's too bad. I think Just Ducky is a cool name. I knew some Duckys back in the day. The oldest boy Rubber was a real cut up in class.
