Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Thursday found himself in the same boat as millions of frustrated Americans — struggling to sign up for health insurance through ObamaCare. At least for a while.
The Speaker’s office released a first-person account from Boehner of his attempt to log on to DC Health Link, the exchange that the District of Columbia is using to offer insurance under the Affordable Care Act.
“Like many Americans, my experience was pretty frustrating,” Boehner wrote.
His office included screen shots and photos of Boehner sitting at his computer.
The Speaker said he encountered an error message after putting in his personal information. After resolving that issue, he tried to sign up for coverage but faced a screen displaying the message: “Error 500- Internal Server Error.”
“Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to get past that point and sign up for a health plan,” Boehner wrote. “We’ve got a call into the help desk. Guess I’ll just have to keep trying ...”
A Boehner spokesman said Thursday evening that 45 minutes after the Speaker's blog post was published, he received an email from the D.C. exchange telling him he was successfully enrolled.
Well..I dunno. It doesnt say whether he actually wanted to BUY it for himself or was just testing it. As far as I know..signing up and buying are 2 different things. Why would he need insurance? They have it.

I think it's safe to assume it's the latter, Ducky, and that Speaker Boehner was trying to prove a point.
Mr. Boehner has been leading the charge against ObamaCare from the outset.

In March 2010, then-Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, came to the House floor as Democrats were poised to pass Obamacare and issued a warning. "Look at this bill," Boehner said. "Ask yourself: Do you really believe that if you like the health plan that you have, that you can keep it? No, you can't."
Boehner’s office reportedly kept health exchange on hold for 35 minutes
As Twitchy reported, House Speaker John Boehner attempted to sign up for Obamacare today, a process he called a train wreck. Boehner encountered at least two error messages online before putting a call in to the help desk.
Scott MacFarlane of NBC Washington reports, though, that the DC Health Exchange had its own complaints, saying that Speaker Boehner’s office put a spokesman for the exchange on hold when he called back to attempt to complete Boehner’s application.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
"If people can’t trust not only the executive branch but also don’t trust Congress, and don’t trust federal judges, to make sure that we’re abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then we’re going to have some problems here." - Barack Obama, June 7, 2013

He was testing it. He and his cronies are exempt from the mandatory insurance due to having a better plan that is free.
Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
