Bravo! Ted Cruz walks out of Castro’s speech

When Cuban leader Raul Castro, brother to Fidel Castro, began speaking at the service memorializing Nelson Mandela, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas walked out.

No bravo from me. He should not be there in the first place. It's my opinion this was an attempt to save some face with angry conservatives.

When Obama shook Raul's hand, the Democrats lost Florida in 2016.

I hope that Cruz anticipated that when making his decision to attend the Mandela memorial.

It would mark a refreshing shrewdness on the part of a prospective GOP presidential candidate.

And, walkin' out on Raul just leveraged Cruz's stratagem.
