Just days after dismissing two top advisers for their roles in the George Washington Bridge scandal, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is facing questions over the use of Superstorm Sandy relief funds.
CNN has learned that federal officials are investigating whether Christie improperly used those relief funds to produce tourism ads that starred him and his family.
The news couldn't come at a worse time for the scandal-plagued Republican, who is facing two probes into whether his staff tied up traffic near the country's busiest bridge to punish a Democratic mayor who refused to endorse his successful re-election bid.

He's too stupid to be allowed to cross the street by himself if he didn't see this coming. The Dims see the northeast as their little kingdom, and they do NOT like seeing a "Republican" invader in their kingdom. Not even a fake one, like Christie.
Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
Ok..that ends this..what else do they want to find? Maybe he had an affair...they should look into that next (eyeroll).
Ends what?
Obama gives him permission to spend taxpayer money on political ads and that's fine with you. Really? That makes it morally right?
I agree with Rand Paul. It's offensive. If I lived in New Jersey I wouldn't be pleased with the way my tax dollars were spent.
Zitat“Some of these ads, people who are running for office put their mug all over the ads while they’re in the middle of a political campaign," Paul said. "In New Jersey, $25 million was spent on ads that included somebody running for political office."
Paul said this could create "a conflict of interest," upsetting taxpayers who expect their dollars to be spent otherwise.
"And that's why, when people are trying to do good and trying to use the taxpayer's money wisely, they're offended to see our money spent on political ads. That's just offensive," he said.

Hey..his butt is covered...he got the ok...so who am I to argue? I had to pay for 2 wars I didnt believe in. Once they have your money..its theirs, not yours. How they spend it is not up to you. At least this money was drumming up some business for the Jersey shore.
All they are doing is picking on this guy for nothing. How many dead ambassadors is that again?

Just because a governor has taken the taxpayer's money does not mean that the taxpayer can never voice disapproval with how that money is spent. If a governor cannot be trusted with the money from his state why should he be trusted with money from the nation?
If the relief funds were spent for Christie's campaigning and not given to the victims of Sandy he deserves extra scrutiny. It's a matter of public trust.

People can voice whatever they want..but if someone is trying to "hang" him over this..he had the backing of this administration...so they had better find something else.
Dont you people get it?
First, he is a republican. Second, there are polls showing that if he ran, he was neck in neck (and sometimes higher) than hillary. They are afraid that he might actually win..since she has benghazi and he doesnt.
No matter how bad you think he is..he isnt worse than her...and if you think that..you are on the wrong forum. Try the DU.

I start at a different place than you. I don't care if he is a Republican. I'm not a Republican.
A candidate who isn't worse than Clinton is a very low threshold. This doesn't inspire me to vote for Christie any more than I wanted to vote for Romney or McCain.
You may be prepared to nominate Christie today. I'm not. A lot can change before the RNC holds their convention. I've got time.
