Jim Warren, former Managing Editor of The Chicago Tribune and current Washington Bureau Chief for the New York Daily News said that action on immigration is “off the table” for President Obama through the 2014 elections on Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The Daily Rundown.”
When asked about the political calculus on issues like Iraq and Syria, Warren reported that the elections were also impacting issues like “immigration, which apparently, apparently is now off the table through the elections because they know they have got to keep the United States Senate.”
Warren also stated, “Even as we hit Labor Day, sort of the traditional moment when all of us start waking up and getting a little more sensitized to politics in a midterm, it is not beyond imagination that they lose the Democratic majority.”
What they are doing is ADMITTING what they want to do is not what the people who elected them want them to do,and they will go right back to doing it again as soon as they are safe despite the wishes of the voters that put and keep them in office.
Somebody remind me again why we need to vote for these people again.
Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
