George W. Bush's truck was auctioned off for $300,000 on Saturday. The auction was organized by Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The 2009 Ford F-150 King Ranch 4x4 SuperCrew (what a mouthful) that was used to troll around the former president's Texas ranch was donated to benefit a charity that serves U.S. military families.

All proceeds from the sale go to Fisher House Foundation, which provides no-charge temporary housing for the families of military members being treated for injuries.
Bush had purchased the truck new in Tucson, Arizona, shortly after ending his term as president.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
It was a loser of a vehicle from a President who didn't want to defend himself for the 8 years he was President. The "New Tone" if you recall. He is lucky he got what he did. Other better charity cars at that auction didn't make that much.
