What's wrong with my T-shirt? Airline passenger boasting 'Prepare to Die' on his chest is asked to change
My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father, prepare to die.' The infamous line from 'The Princess Bride' has been repeated the world over by fans of the cult classic but some Aussies on a Qantas flight on Sunday didn't appreciate the humor. Wynand Mullins boarded his Sydney flight wearing a T-shirt with the movie quote and was asked to change his attire after his fellow passengers complained that they felt threatened.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson

I must be old fashion, the first time I flew commercial uncle sam bought the ticket, after that he required that I dress for my work, when at work I wore work attire. when I traveled I wore a dress uniform and tie. So maybe when you are traveling with the public maybe you should dress a little better than harry the plumber. Really I do not want to smell your work attire.
nerd, times have changed. We don't have to like it, but people come to nice restaurants (that used to have dress codes) in T Shirts and cut off shorts.
When I was a kid we had to dress up in dresses, white gloves and patent leather shoes to go downtown to shop and all the men wore suits (think "Miracle on 34th St.).
Somewhere along the line things should have stopped at a happy medium, but they didn't.
I'm much more worried about young girls' wearing indecent clothes than people wearing shirts with quotes from the very amusing movie, The Princess Bride.
