Senator John Kerry said today in his opening statement in his confirmation hearing for Secretary of State before the Senate that he will do his best to implement "President Obama's vision for the world" by giving "a voice to the voiceless."
I heard a reporter say today that Kerry's nomination approval will not be difficult and no serious opposition is expected.
Oh, joy!/sarc
Orthodoxy SUCKS.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
And Learch will be able to implement that vision because all his buddies with R's after their names are going to not only put him in the job, they will also kiss his ass as they do it.
Luckily for what's left of the USA, he's incompetent and none-too-bright. And, as I heard pointed out by someone, he's going to do what he's told to do and nothing else, so it may not matter much who the Sec. of State is in this administration.
