President Obama has gone all-in trying to get Republicans to blink and serve up another round of tax increases in lieu of the looming spending sequester. Eschewing talks with Congress or any pretense of leadership, he is instead flying around the country burning $180,000 an hour on Air Force One laying out a parade of horribles that will descend upon us if the growth of federal spending were reduced by one iota.

Why is he doing this? Because the mainstream media are lapping it up. Poisoned meat coming to grocery shelves near you! Air traffic grinds to a screeching halt! Fires, murder, and mayhem in the streets as first responders are laid off! No visits to the Washington Monument! OK, it all makes for good copy.

Couldn’t they fire Obama’s $100,000 a year dog trainer instead?” And if this phony “austerity” is imposed on the rest of us, how do you think the public will react to the First Lady’s next multi-million dollar vacation

If there are any smart Republicans left in Congress, watching Obama’s increasingly extreme threats should get them to thinking: Go ahead, make my day. If there are any trusted advisors to the President who aren’t complete toadies they must be thinking: How in the world do we get out of the corner we’ve painted ourselves into?

Time will tell. The regime is counting on people not looking at a WH dog groomer or lavish travel, but rather blaming those Republicans who "think protecting tax breaks for millionaires is more important" than any of these ginned up inconveniences that they hope to unleash.

As of this morning the White House was back tracking, saying there was some misinformation put out and that many would not see the devastating effect immediately BUT over time there would be a dire effect on the economy.

The lying democraps, they government plans on spending more this year than last, there is no real cuts. But congress needs to find the name of the judge that signed those illegals out of jail and fire his azz. The house can impeach a judge.

I believe I read a headline that said the American taxpayer paid $1.4 billion on the Obama's last year.

We need to sequester that budget. Let the Obama's put some skin in the game.

Notice Obama didn't talk about EBT cards suddenly getting unfunded....

Relax, everybody. There's still enough time for the Republicans to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Who knows, maybe a Gang of 9 will rush in at the last minute and make it all better.

What I think we should do is offer some encouragement (I mean the GOP Senators and Reps) to hang in there do not go wobbly..

Is anyone really paying attention to him? I dont know about you guys..but I just roll my eyes. Besides..as long as I can get chocolate, cake and tato chips, I'm good.
