The smoke hasn’t even cleared from the tragic shooting in Connecticut and while saying “Today’s not … a day to engage in the usual Washington policy debates,” liberals are doing precisely that. The phony expressions of sorrow and outrage mask the glee that this is another crisis they won’t let go to waste. Barack Obama who is personally responsible for deaths of countless innocent children via his Fast and Furious operation and his drone strikes has the gall to wipe a non-existent tear from his eye in a phony display of sadness.

What makes me sick beyond the inability to comprehend the sorrow felt by the families of the young victims is the absolute fake outrage by liberals. I’ll say this … if you are a liberal and you claim to care about people, you are a liar. Your actions speak volumes about what you really care about.

Walter Shapiro wrote a piece bemoaning the fact that guns exist in America. He writes … as much as I weep over the dead children at Sandy Hook Elementary School—I sadly know that nothing will change in my lifetime.

The last glimmer of hope for effective gun control in America died in 2008 when the Supreme Court (District of Columbia v. Heller) endorsed an expansive view of the right to bear arms. As Justice Antonin Scalia declared in the majority opinion, “The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia.”

It is hard to pin down exactly when Americans made the collective decision that periodic massacres of the innocent are the price that we supposedly pay for our liberties.

“As much as I weep over the dead children … I sadly know that nothing will change …” In other words as much as he weeps (not) for dead children, he is far more sorrowful that Americans have the Constitutional right to posses firearms.

Liberals are some of the sickest, most disgusting people on the planet. Exploiting the deaths of children and playing on the emotions of truly sorrowful families of the victims is lower than low. It’s the policies of immorality so cherished by liberals that cause things like this tragedy to happen.
