If you shoot skeet your target is always up, not straight ahead.
Where's his vest? Most skeet shooters I know wear a padded shooting vest with pouches for more ammo.
Why muffs? Most shotgunners use earplugs because the muffs slip during recoil.
Holding that shotgun that close to his face is going to leave him with a REALLY black eye.
The best color glasses for shooting skeet is YELLOW for the high contrast in colors you get. Easier to see the clay.
As for the picture itself, look closely at where his right wrist is angled to the shotgun.
Also, look where the barrels come out from the forearm where his hand is. Kinda angles up to me. One last thing, the buttstock is too short for where his hands are. It should be about 3 inches longer to accomodate for his length of pull.

White House forbids photoshopping of Obama shooting image…we couldn’t help ourselves!
from the official White House Flickr page:

Well, you see, there’s this little thing called the 1st Amendment that allows me to manipulate the photo. With that in mind, the photo doesn’t allow us to see the President’s target…I just used my imagination.
Calling all photoshoppers…..this is the day you were born for.

Quote: Eglman wrote in post #4I have a question why is there smoke coming out about 4 in below the end of the barrel--I don't see and kind of muzzle break or a modified choke
I believe the shotgun he's using has portholes in the barrel, presumably to reduce the kick.
