This is just one of the many reasons that I basically can no longer stand to watch Fox News. I switched over this morning from a commercial break on the local news station to see what F&F was discussing. Lo and behold that prissy little tool Gretchen was giving her speech on how it is just such a long stretch to think that registration would ever led to confiscation.
I would pay a lot of $$$ to support a news channel that wasn't a propaganda arm of the Big Government party.
I thought that Beck's BlazeTV was worth the $$$ and had a lot of promise but I was forced to cancel my subscription after he jumped the shark with his "peaceful resistance, Ghandi, MLK" to 2A infringement crap and his embarrassingly awful show and article that purported to "debunk" SH "conspiracies." He is going whole hog towards something, but it certainly ain't the "truth" as he attempts to co-opt it.

She's a ding bat (oh, catty alert...former Miss America??, must have been a poor crop that year) I don't watch any news except local news anymore. She and FNN along with most politicians are a prime example of keeping their jobs means selling out.
I think I am in the small minority of conservatives that cannot stand Beck.

Actually, I think that Beck "support" is at most 50% of conservatives (probably even way less than that). I went back and forth with him over the years and had decided to subscribe to his TV network a year or so ago. It looked like it was promising in that he has a decent hour long news program following his daily TV show that is done by a bunch of young, pretty sharp folks. He also has Wilkow on following that. He is attempting to develop a 24 x 7 network which I was curious to see play out, until he lost me completely on those two topics. I could put up with his constant change of direction and somewhat wishy-washy perspectives over the years since I actually did find a lot of his programs to be very educational. But he just jumped the shark at this point. (BTW, his radio program has been completely un-listenable for years now!)
I find it to be quite sad in that there just aren't any real outlets for truth that you can tune into on the TV, I am very disappointed in Beck.

I approach Beck with some caution - as we should with anyone, BTW. But, I think his show provides enough valuable information that I do listen to it fairly often. He is saying things and presenting things with backup information that few if any others are. And, pretty fearlessly too. He ain't perfect, but then....
I was a little taken aback by his Ghandi thingie, but perhaps it makes sense in that he is in the crosshairs and feels a need to make that disclaimer. And, he's probably still in that mindset - that, somehow, we can turn this thing around peacefully.

Believe me Sang I thought long and hard about cancelling the subscription (because as you say he does often present a lot of valuable information, and there really isn't much of an alternative for TV viewing), but I was so utterly appalled at his propagandizing on those two issues that I could no longer in good conscience support his network financially. (Plus, I had to back up my words in the two blistering letters that I wrote (that I am sure he will never read!). )
Based on the date that I canceled I still have access for another couple of weeks, I watched a few shows since then and the content hasn't been compelling enough for me to re-consider my decision.
(The other thing is that I can't stomach anyone using the names Ghandi, MLK, and Jesus combined into a singular entity. And he has done this more than once.)

The plan by the rats here is to destroy the value of your firearms, by increasing the cost of ownership and then to have the location for confiscation. Not going to play their game.
