Have you forgotten that Iraq was going badly and all the Republicans showed the courage of wet noodles, abandoning our troops for their own hides (which they lost), that the media had been in a lying frenzy about Katrina's being Bush's fault (which it wasnt), and that the Mark Foley scandal (of dirty e-mails) was headline news and the Republicans were all being smeared with it?

Blaming Rove and Bush for 2006, 2008 and 2012 is simplistic.

There were a lot of factors involved in those defeats.

Just calling for a rational argument about him. (I'm Tea Party, and not a fan of his).

Rove was not responsible for the losses in 2006. The aforementioned factors were far more to blame.

Iraq was going badly, Katrina was being falsely blamed on Bush, and the media was trying to make Republicans out to be sexual perverts.

In 2008, the Republican primary voters stupidly nominated McCain, who was a rotten candidate, and there was most likely no one who could have beaten the Obama hologram with his slobbering media lackeys. In 2012, Obama got the same slavish devotion and lies from the left and media, and Rove's lame commentary on Fox was hardly the main factor.

Rove had nothing to do with that.

Again............trying to keep things in perspective here. Karl Rove is not the devil incarnate.
