Personally, I wouldn't have been out in public while a manhunt was being conducted for my child. I would hide. I don't know what she was thinking. I'd be drinking wine at home and crying into the glass in horror and sadness.

The manifesto said that they were estranged. I don't know why and I don't care because it probably wouldn't shed any light on his motives, because he was that far gone. I never believe that anyone has a complete picture of a killer after the fact. Their lives are too complicated to tie up into a neat package. There are no logical answers.

But, I think there will be an interview with his mother in the future. That type of thing usually follows.
