Frankly, he’s boring. Same drivel, different day, packed with cliches and nothing to say. But hey, maybe they can blame Obama fan Chris Dorner for the lost audience.
In preliminary numbers, CBS was the most-watched network for the one-hour-plus speech and coverage with 6.22 million viewers. NBC was next with 5.79 million, followed by ABC with 4.59 million and Fox with 2.37 million. Among adults 18-49, NBC was number one but everyone dropped from last year. In the demo, Fox took the biggest drop from the 2012 speech; the network’s coverage last night posted a 0.9/2, down 47% from last year. Tuesday’s CBS News Special (1.1/3) was down 27% from 2012, with the NBC News Special (1.6/4) down 20% and the ABC News Special (1.2/3) down 14%. Last year’s State of the Union had a total audience of 37.75 million across 14 broadcast and cable networks. That was down from the 42.79 million who watched in 2011 and 48 million in 2010.
So this bag of wind started with 48 million three years ago, was down to less than 38 million last year and if these numbers are accurate he’s down to 19 million this year from the four main networks. Talk about being tuned out.
Well of course people are tuning him out.....the man lies worse than Pinocchio. The only people who even come close to listening to him are other braindead marxists. The fact that 19 million still tuned in to this evil, evil, man IMO is a very scary figure for the future of this nation.
America's hope is not the donkey or the elephant, but the Lamb.
Zitatand if these numbers are accurate he’s down to 19 million this year from the four main networks. Talk about being tuned out.
Which means no one watched Rubio so all of what Zero said last night and is being regurgitated by the MSM today is what people in the country will think is going on. When Zero leaves office, I bet he will be considered one of the most effective and respected Presidents since Reagan. I do not see anything that would keep that from happening.

Poor Rubio, water bottle gate is all people heard about this morning in the MSM
I suspect that there were more people poking around looking for alternatives (DVDs, Netflix, other cable channels, a good book, etc.) last night than ever before. It would be interesting to see what the viewership was for the alternatives, probably all time highs for some of them. I was glad to have a couple of shows on the DVR that I hadn't yet watched.

Poor Rubio? Did you ever see Zero pull these bush league moves when the country might be focused on him? Hell no. This is just like the Jindal fiasco all over again. The fact that the GOP rolled out this guy who isn't ready for prime time makes me sick. Optics are absolutely everything and the fact that the GOP STILL doesn't get that is a disgrace. If I am going to have to put up with another bumbling stumbling loser on the stump like McCain and Romney, I am sitting on my hand for the '16 election cycle. What's the point.

The first 2012 debate, sweetheart, 57 states, special Olympics, my Muslim faith, you didn't build that, the private sector is doing fine to name a few right off the top of my head.
The double standard is they don't care and we decide we have be perfecter than perfect

No The problem is the the majority of American voters are as stupid as a bag of hammers, and judging by Frank Luntz and his focus group, they include Romney voters. Without a flawless performance on our side, our message will never get out. That is why I have no time for some dude that thinks he is running for President on our side having absolutely NO stagecraft.
Don't worry, Rove and the GOP-e boys will have Jeb Bush positioned as the "conservative" candidate with the "best chance to win" by the time things get rolling for 2016.

Watched reruns of "Bones" and "Castle" last week's "Justified" on DVR, and then this week's "Justified" on cable.
