I think this is a new low for our culture and for families and lawyers.
And I do believe that ultimately we are each responsible for our own actions.
HOWEVER,
he is essentially correct.
IF his parents--particularly his father,
HAD loved him actively, genuinely, bondedly, more or less daily, affectionately, reliably etc.
the son WOULD have had sufficient self-respect; self-worth and therefore motivation to succeed.
That's also just a fact.
YES, many men and women with SERIOUS degrees of ATTACHMENT DISORDER
STILL SUCCEED QUITE WELL. Many become quite wealthy . . . often trying to prove to Daddy that they really were WORTH SOMETHING after all.
However, many also crawl along with an overwhelming sense of inadequacy and hopelessness that leaves them groveling in the gutters of society instead of taking a responsible, diligent place they could have otherwise had.
Almost no one--if anyone at all--with all their faculties--comes out of the womb destined for failure. They are CONDITIONED AND TRAINED FOR IT.
It's likely that the only reason OThuga 'succeeded' is because he was targeted at an early age for the stooge role he's been filling for several decades--and greatly helped along the way with magically appearing funds and greased skids all the way to the Blackhouse.
Do I support the man suing his parents. Not really.
Nevertheless, he does make a sequentially valid point.
Behavior planting of "A" persistently has a harvest of "Z" in a great many lives. That's just true.
I'm sure those hostile to such facts will be along shortly.

These three hotties prattling on barely gets to the nuggets in this story. First off, this loser is primarily blaming his STEPFATHER for wrongdoing. The price he needs to pay? Buy him $200K worth of pizza...
Losers Pic from his Facebook page. He must have a computer. Some homeless.
Zitat Bey has demanded his mother and stepfather mortgage their home and give him the money so he can buy a Dominos Pizza franchise that will employ him and his five siblings.
Bey states in his lawsuit that his stepfather, Bernard Manley, often beat him and called him abusive names throughout his childhood, as well as his mother, Vickie Anderson, not showing him affection.
He said he also witnessed his stepfather taking drugs, the NY Post reported.
Bey said: “Our whole family is really poor and my father doesn’t care about the situation.
“I feel unloved and abandoned.”
He also said Manley told him he was not entitled to anything.
“Defendant Bernard Manley informed the plaintiff he was entitled to nothing, which is true,” Bey wrote in the suit.
“I am not entitled to receive anything from an asset he owns. I only thought he might find pleasure in seeing his children become successful.’
Bey’s mother also dismissed the lawsuit, saying: “He’s 32 years old. That speaks for himself. Welcome to America.
“Everyone in America has the same opportunity. Don’t blame the parents at this point. The choice is yours. You’re an adult.”
It doesn't seem to matter greatly which KIND (blood or step-father) father figure is responsible.
Not being truly responsible to give the kids their full fatherly due, has serious consequences for everyone and for society.
