For months, the identity of the person who recorded Mitt Romney’s infamous 47% remarks at a $50,000-per-person fundraising dinner during the presidential campaign remained a mystery.

Just reading this article has my blood boiling over at what a wasted opportunity this was and how Romney's incompetence was the main factor in it.

Romney did not fight once last year. And then in the first interview after the election he takes all of the blame for the failure and says every decision in the campaign was his own and that he takes all responsibility for everything.


More and more I think Romney should have stayed home instead of wasting everyone's time. Maybe it would have been better if someone else had won the primary had the chance to challenge Obama.

My point about Schultz was that he probably cackled over the 47% tape because he is just that mean spirited, you know? I don't know who has more of a blackened heart, him or Chris Matthews.

Look, I will never, ever doubt that Romney would have been a better president than Obama. That being said, if they guy couldn't even competently run his campaign (hiring his friends, 47%, binders full of women, letting Obama get the lead early on, etc. etc.), maybe we're better off he lost?

Better to let Obama really sink the country and get a chance at a real conservative in 2016 than go with a milquetoast candidate like Romney.
