The United States does not have a debt crisis, House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said today on "Face the Nation," corroborating what House Speaker John Boehner and President Obama have said as both chambers of Congress scramble to concoct a budget plan to shore up the federal deficit. But, Ryan added, a crisis is "irrefutably" on its way.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson

WTH? Of course we have a debt crisis. The fact that we haven't hit the wall yet, and therefore don't fully feel the pain, doesn't mean we don't have a problem. Why would Ryan say that?

Because his budget, is just like the rats, he adds 5 plus trillion in debt and does not cut one progam.
I am not a republican I am a conservative, and supporter of the rule of law. And refuse to support any of Roves dopes.

Ryan uses the definition of spending cuts that means not increasing spending as much as originally planned.

And, that is misleading and untrue. Sad - I thought Ryan was one of the good guys.

Ryan is a good guy, but the only job he has ever had in life is politics. And he is a moderate, like his old boss jack kemp.

There seem to be a lot of low information people in the GOP! They wish to over look the fact that every dime obama has spent has been approved by BOner and his leadership.

We all know what Ryan meant. We have a debt problem now, which could certainly turn into a debt crisis. Like how smoking cigarettes is just a problem before it turns into lung cancer. And of course the media is there to rip him to shreds, and so are the GOP's own. I just hope he and Boehner stay strong during this.

That sums up one of our major problems.
You can add in the political correctness and economics that Ryan was exposed to throughout school.
It reminds me of the old saying about the road to hell and good intentions.
