Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Wonder Bread may soon be back in stores after a bankruptcy court judge on Tuesday approved sales of several iconic brands that had been owned by the failed Hostess Brands Inc.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson

The Hostess Company didn't fail. They were forced out of business by the union.
Where I come from that is the failure of the business' management to arrange properly for their labor needs. To get damaged so severely by the very labor arrangements management puts in place, equals failed management.
Maybe in your area, businesses work differently. Nobody responsible, always victims.
And they are not out of business, now. And I bet the acquiring company has made better labor arrangements. Maybe with unions, I don't know.
