During oral arguments today at the Supreme Court, Justice Antonin Scalia and attorney Ted Olson had a pointed exchange over whether same-sex marriage is a fundamental right guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.

The two went back and forth, with Scalia repeatedly questioning when, specifically, it became unconstitutional to bar gay couples from marrying. Olson argued back, but ended up conceding that there was no specific date.

I have always liked Justice Scalia.

Ted Olson looked like a fool in this case I am ashamed of him he is a better man than this. His poor dead wife would be kicking his azz if she had not been murdered.

One of the most clever arguments that I saw about homosexual marriage was this:

Homosexuals are allowed to marry.

Gay man, Joe, and lesbian, Betty, can marry each other today.

LOL

Gay bubba can have a hook up with gay fred , no one cares, and gay betty can rack up with gay ann, no one cares. But I am not going to rewrite the dictionary for them. They can have all the gay unions, hook ups and are goat roping they want. But it is what it is a gay union,

The question is not about rights or equality. The question is "why does Marriage exist?" And the answer is "for the children." This ends the issue.

The homosexual agenda is, of course, a part of the Liberal agenda.

Haven't the people of this country learned by now that what Liberals say they want is never all they want?

Legalized abortion, affirmative action, EPA, sexual harrasment laws, endangered species lists and more, all sold as reasonable and limited "cures" which turned into nightmares much worse than the problems they were supposed to fix.

And this one, homosexual marriage, is the big one, much more dangerous than any of the others because it strikes at the cellular family unit, the central organizing device of civilization for thousands of years.

If they get their way, our society will cast aside the definition and, hence, the structure of the family with absolutely no idea what will replace it, if anything at all.

But, we do know this: What the Liberals say they want out of this is not all they want.
