He owns his microphone and says what he wishes. Knowing how much you dislike what he says I doubt you actually listen to him.
You are a one issue poster, Cedric. You blindly defend the GOP out of loyalty. I understand that.
But there is no discussion with you because there is only your cry to rally the troops.
Orthodoxy SUCKS.
"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." Thomas Jefferson
I watched that whole exchange on "The Five" yesterday, and here's what I got out of it:
Bob Beckel, as usual, took issue with Dr. Carson's impression that "liberals" were out to get him. Beckel has a blind spot here - whenever someone says "liberals" Beckel interprets it to mean they're talking about ALL liberals, and then gets highly indignant. Beckel mentioned his dad, who (I assume) was a liberal, and marched in the South in the 60s for civil rights, yada yada yada.
I'm also a regular listener to Mark Levin's radio program. I don't think he invented it, but Levin uses the term "statist" to describe the current mob of reprobates (Obama-bots) currently running (ruining) the country. I like that distinction - "liberal" is an honorable term, and even though I am not one, I can respect someone who honestly holds those views. The fact is, I don't believe there are many liberals (in the Hubert Humphrey mode) left anymore.
Dr. Carson is a brilliant man, and he certainly doesn't need my advice. But I would have preferred it if perhaps he too would have made the distinction and used the term "statist." But that's just a minor nit-pik.
As far as Dana Perino goes, I'm certain she's a very nice lady. But she worked in the Bush Admin, for Pete's sake, so expecting her to hold genuine conservative views is maybe too much?

True.
But, it was Levin who said, "Some of us are in this battle to win", then resorted to childish name calling......much to the delight of the Soros D&C Squad.

That ain't winnin', sister.
I believe Levin is a heavier hitter than Perino. She is a talking head who sits at that table because she is a familiar Bush administration face and she can say what FOX wants her to say. She does not offer anything substantial to the discussion and would be obliterated by Levin if she went toe to toe with him discussing Constitutional principles, history and where our country is headed.

This cracks me up. Neither in this chick fight hold any postion in the GOPe. Both at this point are simply entertainers. Levin not so much becasue he does take legal action on certain things. So what if they resort to name calling. It is just words. Actions are what count so Levin wins on the action front. Perino was almost homeless before FNS took her in. She thoguht it would be a good idea to attack an attack dog. She lost and I along with millions of others do not care. Oh and she has fat calves. popular here in cowboy country.
What?
