Former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford on Tuesday cleared another hurdle in his bid for political redemption, defeating a former Charleston County council member to win the GOP nomination for the U.S. House seat he held for three terms.

I just can't get over the fact that this guy thinks he is so important that politics can't live without him. Sanford is a walking punch line like Anthony Wiener. Unfortunately he has an "R" after his name.

If you're referring to Kay Summersby, there is no solid evidence that she and Ike had a sexual relationship.

Thus, it's unfair to lump him in with the three Democrat reprobates.

This is yet another example of the penchant around here to besmirch Republicans.
