The idea of having my thoughts examined by a religious court leaves me chilled with fear. I could not defend myself in a religious court. I'm an admitted sinner. I would be among the first at the gallows.
This is what I wonder about steph...
Is she fearful because she sees something I have missed? I have no way of knowing.
But my heart goes out to her because I want to understand.
I can't connect the dots on this. The GOP is floundering, the op is about simply preserving the right to pray and stephs fears are the far right religious nuts are taking over. Just doesn't add up for me.
I can't connect the dots either. If protecting the right to pray makes me a religious nut, then guess I am one. I'm more frightened by those who think protecting religious freedoms means a takeover by religious nuts, then the people 'they' think are the 'nuts'!
America's hope is not the donkey or the elephant, but the Lamb.
