Judge Orders Morning-After Pill Available for All Ages

A federal judge has ruled that the United States government must make the most common morning-after pill available over the counter for all ages, instead of requiring a prescription for girls 16 and under.

The decision, on a fraught and politically controversial subject, comes after a decade-long fight over who should have access to the pill and under what circumstances, and it counteracts an unprecedented move by the Obama administration's Health and Human Services secretary who in 2011 overruled a recommendation by the Food and Drug Administration to make the pill available for all ages without a prescription.

Those little girls... my heart breaks for them.

If this ruling stands (need to know more about what court this ruling has been made in), it is just simply stunning.

A product designed solely to destroy life would now be available to all ages for a few bucks over the counter. Stunning.

Heck, you can't even buy some cold medicines over the counter without some sort of background check and registration I am told. Stunning.

OK Rooters has some more info: "In his ruling, U.S. District (New York) Judge Edward Korman said the FDA's rejection of requests to remove age restrictions to obtain the pill was "arbitrary, capricious and unreasonable."

However, I have little reason to expect that fedgov will appeal. The regime now has a ready excuse in hand, a judge has ruled...
