That's cool. I had an black powder instructor at Boy Scout camp when I was a kid that was as close to a mountain man that there could be. He taught us to hold our Bowie knives blade up. He said it was easier to gut a man stabbing in the stomach and pulling up. That tip always stuck with me. Unfortunately, I will never find out if it will work. I am lazy and carry a 380.
