ZitatFormer ABC News political reporter Sam Donaldson was pulled over on Savannah Road by Lewes Police on December 1 for a traffic violation. An officer says that he’d been drinking. Donaldson failed field sobriety tests, and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Sam Donaldson is a regular guest on ABC News' "This Week" and made himself famous as a left-wing reporter disguised as an objective reporter who regularly taunted President Reagan throughout the 1980s.
Most recently, Donaldson caused controversy back in June with his racially divisive rhetoric accusing some on the political right of opposing President Obama and his policies because the president is black.
According to the Washington DC National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in 2010, 211 children were killed by drunk drivers.
