I've often wondered what carrot / stick was used to achieve that. The vote went from nearly unanimous rejecting the bail out of the TBTF to nearly unanimous in approving it.

Who was a more ethical President, Bill Clinton or George W. Bush?
Two hours have elapsed and you have been found wanting and unable to answer this simple question.

Yea I generally ignore completely off point posts, especially from you. Nerd already called you on it so I continued to ignore it since your first post was about the "gap" in the parties and then you went off on the BC tangent and then even more off tangent on BC and W. Simple fact is that more Reps have been convicted of felonies in modern times than Dems.
What?

What does it mean when someone talks in third person?
Talking in the third person means the person is detached from what they are saying and feeling. If you ask them to talk in "I" form, they may have a sudden flow of emotions come forth, depending on what is being discussed. This can also be a form of denial of their self for whatever their personal reasons are, which sometimes they don't even know. It is also used as a way of not taking or accepting personal responsibility. It is very important to call them on this at times, used at your discretion of course. All you have to say is, could you repeat that now using the word "I" , as in I want, I feel, I did, I will, I don't, etc. This allows them to be in the first person, connected to their authentic self and all their emotions and feelings that go with this. It then becomes a conversation where at the very least honesty and intimacy can be shared by two very present minded people.
