Simon, a former LSU cornerback expected to be selected in the NFL draft Friday night in the third round or Saturday in the fourth, was arrested near his grandmother's home in Eunice. He was charged with public intimidation of a police officer, resisting an officer, a noise violation -- all misdemeanors -- and obstruction of a roadway, which is a felony, according to Eunice Police Chief Ronald Dies.
