Republicans will never win Hispanic votes. The sooner the Grand Old Party establishment (GOPe) acknowledges this the better off this country will be.
The gulf between how Republicans think Hispanics see the world; and how Hispanics actually do see the world is much too large.
The only areas of general agreement between the GOPe and Hispanics are their shared disapproval of Gay “marriage” and abortion. But since these issues are about as important as whether Arbor Day will be celebrated this year, there isn’t much mileage to be gained from these small agreements.
The media fueled mantra of “faith and Family” as the core of the Hispanic community is as specious as the myth of the “conservative Black family.”
Both are false hopes offered by the Left to a Republican establishment eager to find a way to sell illegal alien amnesty and a larger “social safety net” to its base.
A new Public Opinion Strategies (POS) poll crashes into the false propaganda the GOPe dearly loves to use in its efforts to sell the idea of wasting money and time trying to clone its sprinkling of Latino supporters.
The POS survey shows that Latinos see “social and cultural issues” not as Republicans do, but as a road to getting all the free stuff they can from the greater society. In this regard, Hispanics appear to be much more practical than the GOPe.
Truth be told, the GOPe fully understand this ruse. They just want to use it as cover for pushing Big Government Statism and hastening the destruction of the Republic. They know that there will be no votes forthcoming, stop letting them lie.

The neat part is that tax payers get to subsidize the legal and illegal slave labor, thus funding their own destruction.
I don't really think it's about them seriously thinking they can actually get Latino votes. The McCains and the Grahams and the Boehners may "seem" (to us) to be politically naive, but they're not, really.
After all, they've been ruthless and cunning enough to climb and claw their ways up the political ladder. All appearances to the contrary, they're NOT stupid.
They (I believe) are perfectly content for the GOP to be the nominal opposition party. They're happy to let the democrat statists govern, and to let the media statists set the agenda.
They will still live the good life. And to them, that's what counts, right?
That explains their propensity to criticize political conservatives - in the government and on talk radio - MORE than they would ever criticize Zero or his cronies.
Because - the conservative present MORE of a threat to them.
